I’m trying to register for My Account and it says the account details don’t match. What should I do?

If you see a message saying the account details don’t match, make sure you enter your account number exactly as it appears on the front of your bill (you'll find your account number in the Account Details section of your bill). The account number should start with an A- and then have a mixture of uppercase letters and numbers e.g. A-123A1234. Ensure you have no spaces before, within or after the account number.

If you don’t have an account number starting with an A-, in the coming weeks you’ll receive a letter or an email from us with your new account number. Once you’ve got your new account number you’ll be able to register for My Account. Learn more about getting a new account number.
