We offer you a range of payment options. Find one that suits your budget and preferred way of paying bills.

Direct Debit

Take the hassle out of paying your bills.

Direct Debit gives you the flexibility to pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly with payments transferred automatically from your nominated account.

To register, simply complete our Direct Debit Authority Form (PDF 98.9 kb) or call us on 13 10 46 (7am – 6.30pm, Mon – Fri).  Direct Debit is made available under the terms and conditions of our Direct Debit Request Service Agreement (PDF 56.7 kb).

Online with credit card

Pay online using Visa or Mastercard via our BPOINT credit card payment portal.

BPOINT is a convenient and secure payment method and is available 24/7. It's quick and easy, no waiting on the phone, no standing in queues.

To make the payment, you'll need the BPOINT reference number shown on the payment slip on your bill. This service is supported by the Commonwealth Bank and is located on a separate website to the Ergon Energy website. We are not responsible for this service and advise that it is not suitable for all mobile devices.


Pay your bill directly from your bank account, either by phone or online. If you're not already set up for Internet and phone banking, contact your bank.

To make your payment, you'll need the biller code number and BPAY reference number shown on your bill's payment slip. Using the right BPAY reference number ensures we credit your account on time so check you have your up-to-date BPAY reference number before paying.

You can also register for BPAY View TM, which allows you to view your bills online. For more information on how to register visit the BPAY ViewTM website.


Did you know your energy bill can be paid directly out of Centrelink payments? Call 13 10 46 (7am – 6.30pm, Mon – Fri) to arrange this free service.

By phone with credit card

Phone us on 1300 363 214 and have your bill and credit card ready. We accept Visa or MasterCard for payments between $20 and $10,000.

Cheque/money order via mail

Mail your cheque or Australia Post money order along with the bottom section of your bill, to the address shown. Remember that your cheque may take three to seven days to clear.

Electronic funds transfer (EFT)

Pay your bill by transferring money directly from your bank account to ours. To arrange EFT, please call us on 13 10 46 (7am – 6.30pm, Mon – Fri).

Pay in person

If you're a Queensland customer, you can pay your bill in person at an Australia Post office. Visit the Australia Post website for office locations.
