Time of use tariffs
Our residential time of use tariff has different pricing periods during the day and night over summer.
Time of use pricing on Tariff 12A is active only during summer months (December to February).
In non-summer months (March to November) electricity is charged at the off-peak rate at all times.

How can I change tariffs?
You must remain on the same primary tariff for at least 12 months before you can change to another primary tariff.
If you're considering a tariff change, please call us on 13 10 46 (7am – 6.30pm, Mon – Fri).
There may be additional costs associated with changing your tariffs that will vary depending on your individual circumstances. We can let you know more when you contact us to request a tariff change.
Do I need a new electricity meter?
When you change to Tariff 12A, you may need a new electricity meter. Before a new meter can be installed, the meter board and wiring must comply with current standards. Please check with a licensed electrician if you're not sure whether your meter board is compliant. Any upgrades will be at your own expense.
If your meter board is not compliant and Ergon Energy Network is unable to install the meter, you may incur a fee.
