Request a refund

You can request a refund if your account is in credit.

Solar credits on your account will be automatically refunded by cheque every 12 months, but you can request a credit refund at any time.

Request a refund online

You can request a refund quickly and easily online via My Account. Simply go to the ‘Billing & Payments’ page in My Account and if you’re eligible for an online refund, you’ll see a button saying ‘request a refund’.

When we'll need to speak with you

In some cases we’ll need to speak with you on the phone to assist with your refund. Please call us on 13 10 46 if:

  • you have an active account that's under $50 in credit (if you have a closed account you can still request a refund via My Account)
  • you have SmoothPay on your account
  • you’re an authorised representative on the account.
