Farming tariffs

All of our farming tariffs were made obsolete from 1 July 2019.

This means they can only be accessed by customers who are on the tariff at the date it becomes obsolete and continuously take supply under it.

If you're using one or more of these tariffs for your operations, we're here to help you find alternatives that deliver you the best value.

Provisions for Drought Relief

We may allow you to change to an obsolete tariff only once if:

  • You were participating in our Drought Relief program on 30 June 2019 and are using a tariff classified as obsolete from 1 July 2019; and
  • The drought declaration for your property or shire council area is revoked before 30 June 2020; and
  • You nominate to return to the tariff you were using immediately before participating in our Drought Relief program, which was classified as obsolete from 1 July 2019.

Any subsequent tariff changes you make must be to a standard tariff.
