About the White Goods Rebate

Eligible residents and local businesses on Thursday Island, Horn Island and in the Northern Peninsula Area (NPA) can receive a rebate to help with the cost of upgrading to 4-star or higher energy-rated appliances.

Upgrading old appliances can help you save big on your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.

Rebates are available for:

  • dishwashers
  • dryers
  • washing machines
  • fridges
  • freezers
  • air conditioners.

The White Goods Appliance Rebate is part of our PowerSavvy program and funded by the Queensland Government.

How to get the rebate

To get the White Goods Rebate, simply buy a 4-star or higher energy-rated appliance at your local Community Enterprise Queensland (CEQ) store. The rebate will be applied by the store at the point of sale – it's that easy!
