Changes to Electrical Contractor Reimbursement Process Effective 1 October 2025

Ergon Energy Network would like to inform you of an important change to the Electrical Contractor Reimbursement process, effective 1 October 2025.

As of this date, Ergon Energy Network will no longer provide reimbursement for Electrical Contractors attending a customer’s premises solely to bridge a relay or for Network Loss of Supply related issues without prior approval by Ergon Energy Network.

Where Ergon Energy Network approves an Electrical Contractor to attend a customer’s premise and bridge a relay, we will provide the customer with a reference number to provide to their attending Electrical Contractor.

If a customer requests your attendance to bridge a relay, please confirm with the customer that they have received the reference number and prior approval from Ergon Energy Network. Where Ergon Energy Network has issued the reference number and approval, reimbursement will be capped at $250 for the services provided.

Please note: Your customer’s reference number must be included on your reimbursement submission. Reimbursement claims submitted without a valid reference number will not be paid.
