Thank you for registering your school for Electrical Safety Fortnight 2026.
This statewide Safety Heroes initiative helps primary school students learn how electricity works, recognise potential electrical hazards, and understand the simple steps they can take to stay safe around electricity at home, at school and in their community.
To help promote your school's involvement, we have created a suite of downloadable social media resources:

- A Safety Heroes participation badge
- PNG file format for easy use across digital channels
You are welcome to share these assets on your school's social media platforms, website and communications channels. We have also provided suggested copy below that can be used or adapted for social media posts and school newsletters.

Our school is proud to be taking part in #ElectricalSafetyFortnight2026 from 31 August to 11 September 2026!
Our students will be learning how electricity works and the simple steps they can take to stay safe around it at school, at home and in the community.
We encourage our whole school community to support this learning by talking about electrical safety at home and modelling safe behaviours around electricity every day.
