Our Customer Enablement Program is designed to put you and all our customers at the centre of the energy transition, making it easier for you to take charge of your energy use and investments.
The program is all about helping you to maximise the value you get from your own energy choices through more cost-effective network management investments.
How we will deliver our Customer Enablement Program

We take the time and effort to listen to our customers and understand their differing needs. We achieve this through:
- Customer, industry and retailer engagement, including the Energy Queensland Customer Council and associated working group
- Customer research, including the Queensland Household Energy Survey.
Empower our customers
We provide our customers with information and guidance to make informed choices around their energy usage to maximise value. We achieve this through:
- Establishing and maintaining up-to-date and impartial material on all relevant topics to inform customers and the choices available to them.
Make it easy
We strive to streamline and simplify our end-to-end processers resulting in effortless customer experiences. We achieve this through:
- Supporting the development and review of policies and regulations that improve building and appliance energy efficiency, appliance and Distributed Energy Resources (such as solar, batteries and electric vehicles).
Collaborate with our customers
We collaborate with our customers, including our stakeholders and others in the energy industry, to deliver shared value. We achieve this through:
- Ensuring appropriate financial signals are available to customers who choose to flex their demand
- Where possible, delivering demand flexibility programs through partnerships with market providers to enable value stacking.
Working together for better outcomes
We work in partnership with our customers, customer representative groups, and the energy industry, as well as subject matter experts, professionals, and Government.

These partnerships enable us to understand the diverse needs and perspectives within our community.
Through active engagement and consultation, we’re able to adapt our approach, ensuring our strategies and solutions reflect what matters most to our customers and stakeholders.
This approach helps us to create value, build trust, and deliver reliable, cost-effective energy solutions.
