Accessing information from us

Here are some of the different ways you can access information from us:

  • About us sets out information about who we are, our network and company reports
  • Documents for contractors and service providers provides information and resources for contractors working with or for us. It includes guidelines, requirements and safety standards that contractors must follow when performing work on or near our electricity network
  • FAQs addresses common questions from customers about their electricity network. It covers topics such as power outages, reporting faults, meter readings, connection requests, safety concerns and billing enquiries
  • Guidelines and manuals lists general and technical documents such as manuals, forms, guidelines and policies to help our contractors and service providers complete required work and/or meet our distribution network technical requirements
  • Loss or damage claims explains the process for customers to make a claim if they experience damage or loss due to a power outage, surge, or network incident
  • Media releases
  • Metering provides information about electricity metering services for homes and businesses. The page covers topics like remote meter reading, meter faults, and responsibilities for maintaining meters. It also includes guidance on how to request metering services, forms needed, and where to get help or more information
  • Property records search enquiry explains how customers can request property network records related to electricity infrastructure. It outlines the types of records available, such as plans showing the location of underground cables and overhead powerlines

Making a formal application

The Right to Information (RTI) process is a statutory one and should generally only be used as a last resort. Before making a formal application, it is recommended that you first contact us to discuss your request. We may be able to provide the information you need.
