Security deposit

From 1 July 2015 we will not be requesting security deposits from new residential customers.

If you are a current Ergon Energy Retail residential customer who has provided a security deposit to us prior to 1 July 2015 we will return this deposit, with any accrued interest, after you have completed one year of paying your bills in full by the due date. 

Should you wish to close your account before the year is completed, we'll credit your final bill when you finalise your account with us.
