Plus a conventional planting system to allow seed propagation, planting and growing plants for educational purposes and holding workshops for various community groups.$ 10,000

Community Gro IncRasmussenHost Disaster Preparedness days at Upper Ross and Garbutt Community centres. This project will bring together local and emergency services to deliver disaster awareness presentations and kits to families.$ 9,655
Foodbank QueenslandMorningsideFoodbank’s School Breakfast Program supports 28,000 kids weekly. Many children go hungry over the school holidays when this service is unavailable. The Food for Kids program will address this need by providing 400 take home food packs to vulnerable children prior to the school holidays.$ 10,000
Goodna Street Life IncGoodnaPurchase solar panels for pods. Pods are used as emergency sleeping accommodation for individuals who find themselves on the streets. Each pod has a solar panel which allows for the pod to be ventilated and to offer a charging point for users.$ 10,000
Lions Club of LongreachLongreachInstallation of solar PV on the Lions Den. This will help offset power costs and offer facilities to the community for a lesser fee.  The project will allow for air conditioning, refrigeration for catering, and electricity to the toilet block.$ 10,000
