Acting Chief Executive

Roslyn is the Acting Chief Executive of Ergon Energy. Roslyn commenced with us in 2010 and has served the company at the executive level for the past six years. Previous to her appointment to the role of Acting Chief Executive, she held responsibility for Ergon’s Retail business including retail strategy, wholesale markets, marketing, new and alternate energy product development, and servicing our 733,000 residential and small business customers. Roslyn’s experience in the energy industry extends across both distribution and retail and most recently she led the strategy development and planning for the Future Energy Services Business Model for our business.

Roslyn has over 18 years’ experience in senior leadership and commercial roles including working in complex regulatory and political environments. During her career, Roslyn has held senior leadership and board positions within the petroleum, dairy, education and consulting industries, including time with Mobil, Dairy Farmers and the Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland. She has a keen interest in economic development and currently holds a position on the Committee for Regional Development Australia (Townsville and North West Queensland) and is Chair of the Energy Risk Management Committee for the Board of Ergon Energy Queensland Pty Ltd. She has held previous directorships within the disability services and education industries. Roslyn was a finalist in the Queensland Telstra Business Women’s of the Year Awards (2015).


Peter Billing

Acting Executive General Manager, Network Optimisation

Peter Billing is responsible for the operational effectiveness of the distribution business and for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the network.  He is also responsible for supply to our isolated communities and the commercial delivery of modular infrastructure and generation solutions.  He brings a wealth of industry, leadership and change management experience to the executive, from trade roles to management.  Peter was directly involved in the deregulation of the electricity industry in South Australia in the 1990s.  He is on the board of Energy Skills Queensland.


Tony Pfeiffer

Tony Pfeiffer

Acting Executive General Manager, Retail

Tony Pfeiffer is responsible for Ergon Energy's franchise retail business and oversees retail strategy, energy procurement, retail corporate services, retail operations and customer service. He brings 30 years of industry experience in business strategy, economic regulation, operation, construction, asset management and business performance in the electricity utility industry. Tony was intimately involved in the formation of the National Electricity Market and development of the original National Electricity Code. He represented South Australian Retail interests when the decision to commence the National Electricity Market was taken, and has been actively involved in the Sale and Full Retail Contestability processes in both South Australia and Queensland. Tony is Chairman of Green Cross Australia, a Non-Executive Director of Enova Community Energy and a board member on the Australian Power Institute and the Queensland Geothermal Energy Centre of Excellence advisory board.


Rod Williams

Acting Executive General Manager, Finance & Corporate Services

Rod Williams is responsible for managing the financial and commercial aspects of the business. This includes responsibility for the strategy and regulatory functions, along with the legal counsel and risk and assurance program, and strategic procurement. Rod is also responsible for the organisation's shared shared services functions and customer and external stakeholder engagement. Rod's focus is to drive performance across the corporate functions to ensure strong financial, commercial, and customer outcomes. Rod brings with him over 30 years of experience both within Ergon Energy and in the private sector covering a range of industries including manufacturing, mining and construction.


Belinda Watton

Acting Executive General Manager, People & Culture

Belinda brings to her responsibilities (for human resources, customer and external stakeholder engagement and employee communications) her experience from executive roles in various public, private and not for profit organisations. Belinda's expertise in human resource solutions includes organisational, leadership and talent development, developing and leading high performing teams, as well as industrial relations and remuneration management. She also has expertise in corporate communications and stakeholder relations.


Paul Jordon

Paul Jordon is responsible for customer service across the network business, and for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the distribution network. He is also responsible for supply to our isolated communities, and the commercial delivery of modular infrastructure and generation solutions. Paul brings with him a breadth of distribution and retail experience and skills having worked in Distribution entities for over 30 years and having led Ergon Energy’s  Customer Service Retail arm.

Paul has been responsible for managing WH&S streams, works planning streams and operational work groups within Ergon Energy and other Distribution entities. Paul has also provided Distribution consultancy services internationally in the past.

Paul is focused on ensuring that our leaders and employees are absolutely committed to maintaining a safe work environment, providing outstanding customer service and delivering efficient and quality services.

Chief Executive Officer, SPARQ Solutions

Peter Effeney is the Chief Executive Officer of SPARQ Solutions Pty Ltd, Ergon Energy’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) joint venture with Energex. As the Chief Information Officer, his responsibility is to ensure Ergon Energy’s ICT strategy, architecture and investment and SPARQ Solutions’ ICT services are aligned with the business’ strategic priorities, and deliver maximum value. Prior to leading the formation of SPARQ Solutions, Peter held various management, engineering and ICT roles within Ergon Energy.
