I'm delighted and proud to share the exciting news that Ergon Energy has been honoured with one of the highest accolades in our industry.

Our Roames innovation has won the prestigious International Edison Award, presented to Ergon by the US-based Edison Electric Institute.

The award honours distinguished leadership, innovation and the advancement of the electricity industry for the benefit of all.

This is an outstanding international tribute to our people and how we think about delivering for customers.

Roames was born out of challenge – the difficulties in staying on top of monitoring the assets and the surrounding vegetation and environment in our vast network – and now it's been recognised as a class-leader on the world stage.

Roames embodies the determination and application with which Ergon tackles challenge and navigates change.

You are invited to watch this video which explains Roames and why it's a game-changer.
