New online portal to help Retail Customers with their accounts

Ergon Energy Retail customers now have an easy way to manager their electricity account through the new online portal - My Account.

My Account allows residential customers to quickly and easily check their account balance, view and pay bills and move house.

General Manager Retail Operations Martin Seri said the new feature was accessible from the Ergon Energy Retail website.

“Our customers have told us they wanted more choice in how and when they interact with us," Martin said.

"My Account provides another option for our customers and lets them manage their account 24/7 on their mobile, tablet or computer.”

“It’s been really popular - we’ve had more than 2000 customers sign up to My Account since it launched on 1 December.”

“We’re now working on extending this service to our larger customers and hope to provide the online facility to our business customers by mid-2017”

Martin said My Account also had the benefit of giving Ergon Energy Retail’s Customer Solutions Centre Representatives more time to tackle complex queries and support other value add products available to customers.
