Our electrical engineering Graduate Program continues to power the careers of Queensland’s best and brightest. The three year program includes mentoring, career development and support from technical specialists in a variety of disciplines.
Applications are now closed. You can apply for a graduate opportunity when we’re advertising for applicants, which usually happens every year. Our next graduate intake will be advertised around June 2019 to commence early 2020.
About the program
As a graduate with us you will be:
- Working on interesting and varied projects that challenge and provide you with the experience to develop your professional skills
- Supported every step of the way by approachable and knowledgeable people, so you can develop your skills
- Exposed to our senior leaders so you can see how they operate and develop your own leadership style
- Supported by flexible working options so you can manage your professional and personal priorities according to your individual needs.
The program also supports you to work towards Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng).
The focal point of our Graduate Program is a three-year rotational plan that allows you to experience on-the-job training across various business divisions in different geographic locations. You will be provided with a mentor for the duration of the program, along with a supervisor to track your development on each rotation.
These rotations expose you to a wide variety of people, roles and environments, helping you to expand your professional network and really understand our business. We pride our program on providing a culture that empowers you to take charge of your development and career direction.
In addition to your on-the-job training, you can also complete a range of postgraduate courses to support your professional development. We also recognise the importance of interpersonal skills and offer customised training courses to help you develop into a well-rounded engineering professional.
You will have many career opportunities across our various divisions, functions, locations and diverse roles. In our business it’s possible to start your career as a graduate engineer and, in time, progress to a senior management role.
