Economy Tariff 33
Tariff 33 is a lower cost electricity supply that provides power to the pool pump outside of peak times.
Most modern pool filtration systems have timers with a battery backup, which enables your timer to keep running even while power on Tariff 33 to your pool pump is unavailable.
If the battery in your system isn't reliable enough for daily use on Tariff 33 or if you don’t have a battery backup, you may need a new timer installed at the switchboard that remains connected to Tariff 11. Ask your local pool professional and electrician for more details on the options available.
