Community Ambulance Cover Levy
The Community Ambulance Cover Levy helps provide a secure funding base for the Queensland Ambulance Service. It is not a user-pays system and all Queensland residents are automatically covered for emergency ambulance services anywhere in Australia. The levy is collected by electricity retailers on behalf of the Queensland Government and you pay for the levy through your electricity bill.
