It is important to always use a licensed electrical contractor. Their knowledge and experience is your best protection. Adults should not do the work themselves, and if mum or dad is a home handyperson, they should not proceed with any electrical jobs.

If you see mum or dad making their own extension cords, please tell them to always buy ready-made leads and extension cords - never make them at home.
