Unplugged Photo Challenge

Show us what Energy Sense means to You Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter is Ergon Energy Corporation Limited ABN 50 087 646 062 of 22 Walker Street, Townsville 4810 and its related entities “Ergon Energy”).
  2. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry.
  3. Entry is open to Queensland school children who have participated in the Ergon Energy/Qld Arts Council production of the play titled ‘Unplugged’ only.
  4. Entries must be submitted online by emailing your photos to info.ergonia@ergon.com.au and including the name of the school, teacher’s name, a description of the photo and parental/legal guardian permission.
  5. Before submitting your entry, parental/legal guardian consent must be obtained through the form titled ‘Parental/Legal Guardian consent form’ for all the children whose photos are to be uploaded to the Ergon Energy website.
  6. The competition commences on Monday, 6 September 2010 and closes at 5.00pm Australian Eastern Standard time on 15th December 2012.

      • A visit by an actor playing the role of Ergon Energy Man who will hand out Energy Sense merchandise
      • Morning or Afternoon Tea (as relevant
      • A visit by an Ergon Energy’s Energy Education Adviso
      • A professional development workshop for teachers at the relevant school (to be held outside of school hours
    • For a Secondary School clas
      • A cameraman and director to assist you making your own ‘Energy Sense’ advertisement to appear on Youtube (“Energy Sense Advertisement”
      • Morning or Afternoon tea (as relevant
      • A professional development workshop for teachers at the relevant school (to be held outside of school hours
      • The total value of the prize will not exceed a maximum of $ 2,000
  8. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  9. You authorise Ergon Energy to upload the Energy Sense Advertisement on Youtube.  
  10. You warrant that you have the right to assign and transfer all rights, including without limiting proprietary and intellectual property rights, in your entry to Ergon Energy. You agree that the Energy Sense Advertisement will be the property of Ergon Energy.
  11. Ergon Energy retains a right, in its absolute discretion, not to accept entries that are Ergon Energy deems to be incomplete, indecipherable, illegible, inaudible, inappropriate, offensive or defamatory. .
  12. Each winner will be chosen by Ergon Energy at the end of each school semester. There will be one prize per semester per year.
  13. The winning class will be notified by telephone during school hours, using the details provided by the winning participants with their entry. The name of the relevant school of the winning class will be announced on www.ergon.com.au/ergonia
  14. The Ergon Energy’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into with any participant, other than the winning school.
  15. Ergon Energy shall not be held responsible for delays in delivery of the prize (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury, which is suffered or sustained at or in connection with this competition or use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  16. If a prize remains unclaimed by one month after the prize is drawn, Ergon Energy may conduct such further draws as are necessary in order to distribute the prize to another entrant.
  17. By entering this competition agrees that Ergon Energy may use entrant’s Energy Sense  ideas.
