Unplugged Photo Challenge
What Energy Sense Means to You
Students are asked to take a photo showing What Energy Sense Means to You. Teachers will choose the top three photos from each class and email the photos to info.ergonia@ergon.com.au including the name of the school, a description of the photos and parental permission. The winning entry will receive a free 'Energy Sense Day' for their class courtesy of Ergon Energy. There will be one winner per semester. The winner will be chosen by Ergon Energy's Energy Sense expert.
The Energy Sense Day will consist of the following:
- For a Primary School class
- A visit by Ergon Energy Man with plenty of Energy Sense giveaways
- Morning or Afternoon Tea
- A visit by Ergon Energy’s Energy Education Advisor
- A professional development workshop for teachers (to be held outside of school hours)
For a Secondary School class:
- A cameraman and director to assist you making your own Energy Sense ad to appear on Youtube
- Morning or Afternoon tea
- A professional development workshop for teachers (to be held outside of school hours)
By participating in What Energy Sense Means to You and providing photos of your class you are giving Ergon Energy consent to use/publish the photos online on at www.ergon.com.au/ergonia or use in advertising and promotional activities.
By taking part in this competition, as a teacher you are responsible for ensuring parental/legal guardian consent for these photos appearing on the Ergon Energy website or used in Ergon Energy advertising and promotional activities. You are also guaranteeing that no child that has been unable to obtain consent appears in any of these photos.
