Ergon Energy regards environmental responsibility and sustainable development principles as critical.
We are committed to delivering best practice environmental outcomes and continually improving our environmental performance through our Environmental Management System (EMS). Ergon Energy's EMS has been developed in accordance with the standard AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 and is accredited by an independent third party certification body.
The EMS standard sets out a framework which enables Ergon Energy to manage the risk of environmental impacts from its operations. Ergon Energy's EMS addresses issues such as risk identification and management, planning, training, reporting, auditing, and review
