Two community clean up events to remove marine debris at Snapper Island and Cape Kimberley. Data will also be collected and submitted to the National Marine Debris Database which is used to identify and find practical ways of reducing the most prevalent marine debris.

Toomulla Beach Foreshore Restoration & Revegetation 2012 Project

Weed removal, revegetation and maintenance of the Toomulla Beach dune area to assist with erosion control, broaden the diversity of indigenous flora and encourage the return of native fauna.

Belgian Gardens State School Aquaponics Project

Establishment of a fish pond and garden beds to grow produce using re-circulated fish pond water. The plants gain their nutrients from the fish waste in the water, eliminating the need for fertilisers.
